patch notes

what's new.

v1.1

may 2026

real road distance — cards now show mileage from apple's road routing, so the number matches your nav app instead of the crow-flight estimate

traffic-aware eta — the time on each card reflects actual driving conditions

truck stop mode — flip it on for actual truck-friendly stations (pilot, love's, ta, petro, maverik) instead of stations with just one diesel pump. more sparse, so work with the distance slider to find your rhythm

filter by fuel grade — regular, midgrade, premium, or diesel. the price you see and the savings math now match the grade you actually pump

weather-adjusted mpg — cold mornings, headwinds, and rain quietly cost you fuel. we factor it in

tap anywhere on a card to expand the full price + amenity breakdown

"tap to find gas" text is now tappable — not just the waypoint logo. sorry about that

bigger nav button, easier to hit at 70 mph

search radius is a slider now, 1–30 mi or 1–50 km

smoother animations, faster screens, tighter typography throughout

still no accounts & still no tracking. we’re currently working on a database to bring value to the app and its users for amenity reviews like bathroom cleanliness, safety and quality of life perks at stations, and availability of what users need most. we really hope everyone is finding the app useful and can’t thank you enough for the support.
