by downloading, installing, or using homadic, you agree to these terms of service. if you do not agree, do not use the app. these terms apply to all users of homadic regardless of how the app was obtained.

these terms are governed by and incorporate apple's standard end user license agreement (eula) for apps distributed through the app store, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. in any conflict, apple's eula takes precedence with respect to apple's platform terms.

rb labs grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use homadic on any apple device you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

you may not:

• —copy, modify, or distribute homadic or any portion of it
• —reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• —use homadic to build a competing product or service
• —sublicense or sell access to homadic
• —remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• —use any automated means to extract data from the app

homadic provides fuel price estimates and navigation assistance. we make reasonable efforts to keep data accurate, but:

• —per-station fuel prices are sourced from google places api and reflect google's most recent observation, which may be hours or days old
• —the regional baseline used to calculate your savings comes from the u.s. energy information administration's weekly PADD data — neither source reflects the live pump price at any individual station
• —station availability, hours, and amenities may change without notice
• —savings estimates are approximations based on your vehicle settings — they are not financial guarantees
• —route suggestions are provided for informational purposes — always follow posted road signs and traffic laws
• —weather data is sourced from open-meteo and may not be accurate for your exact location
• —hotel prices may be relative price tiers rather than live room quotes
• —hospital and care results are informational discovery, not medical advice, emergency dispatch, or a ranking of the best care; call emergency services for a medical emergency

do not interact with homadic while operating a motor vehicle. configure your route, vehicle settings, and preferences before you drive. if you need to make changes, pull over safely before using the app.

rb labs is not liable for any accident, injury, damage, or loss arising from the use of homadic while driving. use of this app while operating a vehicle is at your own risk and may be illegal in your jurisdiction.

the following are the exclusive property of rb labs and are protected under applicable intellectual property law:

• —the homadic name, wordmark, and brand identity
• —the homadicScore algorithm and routing engine
• —the price-history dataset format and local storage architecture
• —all source code, designs, and interfaces
• —rb labs name and associated research (including us provisional patent filings)

nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

personal settings remain local by default. free search needs no account; optional homadic+ and verified gas contributions may involve an account, contribution evidence, settlement, and review credits. see our privacy policy for details.

gas is currently the only verified contribution category. review credits are non-transferable records with no cash value today. do not submit another person's image, location, or personal information, and do not attempt to manipulate evidence, prices, ranks, settlements, or credits.

homadic integrates with the following third-party services, each of which has its own terms and privacy policy:

• —google places api (places.googleapis.com) — gas station search results and per-station fuel prices
• —u.s. energy information administration (eia.gov) — publicly available regional fuel price baselines
• —open-meteo (open-meteo.com) — open-source weather api
• —apple mapkit autocomplete — address suggestions when you add a frequent stop
• —apple maps, google maps, or waze — opened externally for turn-by-turn navigation

rb labs is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services.

homadic is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. rb labs does not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components. your use of the app is at your sole risk.

to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, rb labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of homadic.

in no event shall rb labs's total liability to you for all claims exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00 usd).

we reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to homadic at any time, for any reason, without notice. you may stop using homadic at any time by deleting the app from your device. upon termination, all locally stored data is deleted when you uninstall the app.

we may update these terms from time to time. if we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and note the change in the app store release notes. continued use of homadic after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

these terms are governed by the laws of the state of louisiana, united states, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of east baton rouge parish, louisiana.
